Business Publicity Tips, Tricks & Techniques at Elmwood College March 2

Business Publicity Tips, Tricks & Techniques is a half-day workshop for anyone interested in learning how to publicize and promote a business, service or product in newspapers, magazines and broadcast outlets. The half-day workshop is on Friday, March 2, from 9 am to 1 pm at Elmwood College, Cupar. Participants will learn about press releases, creating newsworthy stories, working with the media, what not to do when publicizing themselves, and how to put their best business foot forward. The workshop will provide business owners with the information, ability and confidence to create their own positive-image publicity in a variety of news outlets. The workshop will be led by Gail Sorley of Sorley PR Strategies, who has over 25 years' experience in public relations and publicity, having worked with new start-ups as well as established companies such as Samsonite Luggage, Campbell Soup, Philip Morris, and Encyclopaedia Britannica.
